History
Galveston County Municipal Utility District No. 81 (the “District”) was created by Order of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (“TCEQ”) dated September 2, 2021. The District operates under Article XVI, Section 59 of the Texas Constitution and operates in accordance with the Texas Water Code, Chapters 49 and 54. The District is located in Galveston County and is situated wholly within the limits of the City of League City. The District currently consists of 260.58 acres and serves the Pedregal South community.
